I read A Sparkle of Silver by Liz Johnson. My go to books are historical, and since my TBR pile is ever growing 😉 I tend not to read that many contemporary books. That being said, I really enjoyed A Sparkle of Silver and would definitely recommend it!

Even though I like reading other genres, my go to one is historical fiction, therefore I don’t read too many contemporary stories throughout the year. However, this month I read “Their Texas Christmas Redemption” by Mindy Obenhaus, which I enjoyed!

I read Here Goes Nothing: An Introvert’s Reckless Attempt to Love Her Neighbor by Kendra Broekhuis. I don’t often read nonfiction or even Christian Living books because I have an in-depth Bible study that I focus on. But after reading another fictional book by this author, and searching for more of her books, this one caught my eye. It is the perfect month long daily devotional with a short chapter and then a Bible passage to reflect on and go deeper.
