It has been a while since I posted a Writing Prompt Wednesday, but I thought I would drop a quick prompt and try to get back into a groove of at least posting one once a month.
This week I am on a mission trip to Mercer, Wisconsin. There we are conducting Mega Sports Vacation Bible School. This is a family mission trip where my husband, our two little Ninja Turtles, and my mother-in-love will serve with 47 others from Northern Kentucky.
Today’s writing prompt is simple:
Option 1: If you have ever been on a mission trip, share your favorite memory or challenge you faced.
Option 2: If you have never been on a mission trip, tell me where you would like to go and how you would like to serve.
Option 3: If neither of the two options above interest you, maybe share a recent “God sighting.” In my family, “God Sightings” are where you take time and recognize how God is working in your life. It can be as simple as the sun warming your face or as amazing as God starting a car with no engine. (Which by the way, I heard an amazing story where God did just that a couple years ago.)
