My Review
There is always something fun about a friend to more story, and that is just what you get in this sweet Regency romance. Not only is it a friends-to-more story, but it’s also a best-friend’s-sister story, which is even more fun.
Tristan and Caroline have a history where Caroline was always the one enamored with Tristan, while Tristan was oblivious and wouldn’t consider her as a potential wife. Of course, the roles flip, and it’s delightful to watch Tristan pursue Caroline while Caroline tries to keep her former attraction firmly in the past.
This sweet read was just what I needed for happy sighs and nearly stress-free reading. I’m saying nearly, because there are always things in a good story that have you waiting with eager anticipation to see what will happen next and how things will be resolved. I put it firmly in the sweet and fluffy category because everything does tie up with a neat little bow, but that sometimes is just what I’m looking for in a read.
I’ve already read the first three books in the Gentlemen’s Gamble series, and I look forward to reading the rest.

I read A Lord of Valor by Kiylee Davis. It’s her debut Regency romance, and it was so easy to fall in love with Luke and Clara! Sweet kisses only.
I read “Sheltered by the Doctor” by Danielle Grandinetti, and I enjoyed it. 🙂

I read Hammocks, Handguns, and Hearsay by Tonya Kappes. Part of the Campers and Criminals Cozy Mystery Series, set in the Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky. Love this campground, town, and characters.
Tonya actually lives in our area and I’ve got to meet her a couple of times. She is a fascinating and fun woman!
I read A Child to Bind Them by Donna Gartshore. It was a really interesting book.
I’ve never heard of that one!
So far I’ve read a few by Anna Hawke and a novelette by Mimika Cooney.

I read Sage by Sarah Lamb and Square Hearts by Julee Balko. Enjoyed them both.

I read The Carpenter by Pegg Thomas. I did enjoy it! However, I forgot there was a prequel to the book until after I finished it! 😜 Lol!
Oops! Oh well! I hope you can still enjoy it without the prequel.
Dreams of the Heart by Penny Zeller, which I really enjoyed. I also listened to The Lady and the Mountain Man by Misty M Beller, and I loved it.
